Love this, and sharing this far and wide. Also, as far as local elections, GO COLIN ALLRED, BEAT TED CRUZ. Ahem. (Thanks, as always, for your wise words, friend.)
This is exactly what I need to see! I'd already donated to Harris/Walz and gotten the t-shirt. Just donated to Swing Left PA (went to college there) and Movement Voter PAC. Thank you
Excellent list of next steps! We're attending a fundraiser this afternoon for Vancouver city council candidate Wil Fuentes this afternoon, so I can check 'support hyper-local' off our list (we're already Perez supporters as well.)
I'm pleased to report that both hub & I own & wear the Next Draft ,la t-shirt & it's a good buy. Husband even wears his to pickleball & already has link on his phone to share when he gets the 'nice shirt! Where'd you get it?' question.
The NextDraft Comma-La shirt starts conversations every time I wear it, especially because it takes some folks a few befuddled minutes to get the joke.
Asha, this action plan is just what I need to “Do Something.” Your ideas are well thought out and totally doable. I was also wanting to avoid the emotional and physical toll I experience during the past two election cycles. Thank you.
I love these suggestions. Thank you. I so appreciate all that you've done in this arena since 2016, and especially for modeling a way to have impact that doesn't require self-sacrifice. I'm now wishing I lived in district 2, but I'm district 1. Any recommendations for those running there?
I’m not familiar enough with candidates in other districts to even comment. But a savvy friend of mine recommended this website as a useful resource for getting to know the different candidates. I’m passing this on before having looked at the website in-depth, but my initial impression is good. Will update here if that changes. https://rosecityreform.org
I always love your action plans -- so thoughtful and practical. PS we're about to have matching tees, so thanks Dave Pell!

Thank you for this wonderful list and for donating to AZ State Legislature candidates (hi from Flagstaff, AZ!).
Flagstaff!! I used to live in Kingman (when I was 2)!
Thank you for sharing so many easy and practical suggestions Asha.
Nadine!! You’re welcome.
Yes! Yes! Yes!

Amazing, Liz!! I’m glad this helped.
Thank you for this! Just did some research on WI state legislature races and made some donations.
Amazing, Meg! Thank you so much!
This is wonderful, Asha. And welcome back! Nice to see you again in my inbox and thanks for the shoutout!
You're welcome. I loved your post and have been thinking of you as summer inches toward fall.
