Join me on Notes
A new place to connect that's already hopping with good mojo (and that’s coming from me, a slow adopter and social media skeptic)

I’m on a short newsletter break while on a ROAD TRIP with my MOM (!!!), but I’m hopping on the motel WiFi to give you a quick update:
Substack Notes launched last night and I’m pretty excited about it. I just published my first note, and would love for you to join me there!
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. It’s like Twitter but for friendly, mutually-supportive people! Seriously! I like it so far.
I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions. I’ll also use it to talk up other great writing with a focus on Substack. There’s so much good stuff here!
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Parent of Adults, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. Tip: you can “restack” links to Substack posts you enjoy to give them a boost (look for the “restack” button at the top and bottom of all posts). I’ll get a ping if you restack my posts. It will be like a tiny joy Tic-tac.
I hope this becomes a space where all of you can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Of course, if the idea of another network makes you tired, you can always find me in the comments or on Instagram. Especially if you want to see road trip pics.
